A day in the packing house, start to finish
The benches start filling just before seven. Trolleys roll in from the greenhouses, and the first orders of the day are already waiting to be picked.
Most people who join us have never packed a plant before โ and by the end of week one, they’re flying. Here’s what a typical shift really looks like.
7am โ the morning brief
A quick huddle, today’s targets, and who’s on which bench. Then the kettle goes on and the first trolley arrives.
Mid-morning โ into the rhythm
Wrapping, boxing, labelling. There’s a steady rhythm to it once you find your feet, and someone’s always nearby if you need a hand.
